Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team cover purley and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation across various premises, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an opportunity to work in diverse settings, including commercial, hospitality, and residential environments, contributing to the overall upkeep and presentation of the property. Prior experience in cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces
• Clean and restock restrooms, ensuring hygiene standards are maintained
• Handle specialised cleaning tasks in commercial or hotel environments as required
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any faults or shortages
• Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment
• Assist with organising storage areas and waste disposal in accordance with environmental policies
• Provide excellent customer service by responding courteously to client requests or concerns when necessary

Skills

• Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• Basic cooking skills are considered a bonus for roles involving hospitality environments
• Excellent customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients or guests
• Flexibility to adapt to different environments such as hotels, offices, or retail spaces
