What are we looking for?

What We Are Looking For

  • A passion for social justice, equity, and youth empowerment.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Good writing skills with a sense of humour, creativity and clarity.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable using social media scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Later, Hootsuite).
  • Experience with Canva or similar content design platforms.
  • Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and have access to their own laptop and internet.

What will you be doing?

This role is perfect for someone looking to build a portfolio and contribute to meaningful content that drives change — with a particular focus on promoting our
#WorldChangers Podcast with AmickyCarol
and other key campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and scheduling social media content across multiple platforms.
  • Create engaging posts that align with our campaigns, events, impact stories, and the #WorldChangers Podcast with AmickyCarol.
  • Support the planning and execution of podcast-related content, including episode highlights, quotes, and behind-the-scenes clips.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and tags to encourage audience engagement.
  • Help track analytics and report on social media performance and growth.
  • Stay informed on social media trends and recommend ways to increase engagement and reach.
  • Support live event coverage, podcast launches, and social media takeovers when applicable.
