Housing Support Officer

Full-time | In-person

Are you passionate about helping others and ready to manage your own caseload with independence and purpose? We're looking for a compassionate, motivated Housing Officer to join our team.

You'll manage your own properties, ensure they are safe and welcoming, fill voids efficiently, and provide person-centred support to tenants working toward stability and independence. If you believe in treating people with dignity, kindness, and fairness — you'll fit right in.

What You'll Do

  • Manage your own portfolio of accommodation properties
  • Proactively fill voids and carry out property viewings
  • Manage tenant support needs, including rent cases and arrears
  • Conduct HMO property inspections & safety checks
  • Support tenants with day-to-day needs and housing challenges
  • Handle property issues & complaints with professionalism
  • Assist tenants with Universal Credit and financial support matters
  • Work independently while being part of a supportive, values-driven team

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in housing support or a similar role
  • Knowledge of Universal Credit (or willingness to learn)
  • Full UK driving licence & access to a car
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Compassion, patience & a non-judgmental approach
