The St Bart's Multi Academy Trust, in partnership with Governors, staff and children of Longford Primary Academy are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our hard working and committed team.
At Longford Primary Academy our children come first. High expectations, mutual trust and respect are underpinned by a warm, supportive ethos. In the best interests of our children we work very closely with our partner Academies. The successful candidate will be working alongside a team of caring, enthusiastic, dedicated staff, who are well-supported by their Senior Leadership Team.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with children with SEND, as well as experience supporting pupils with ADHD, autism and ODD. Our calm provision supports children in key stages 1&2. Curriculum planning is provided by year groups, with dedicated time allocated for the successful candidate to adapt this planning to meet the individual needs of the children within the provision.
The provision lead will be well supported by the SENCO and by experienced support staff working within the provision. We are committed to ongoing professional development and will support the provision lead with tailored CPD opportunities, in addition to the school's wider planned CPD programme for all staff. This ensures our whole-school approach to inclusion remains strong and that the provision continues to be fully inclusive.
The curriculum is carefully tailored to include opportunities for social, emotional and self-regulation development, including structured programmes such as Attention Autism, ELSA, Positive Play and Forest School. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is nurturing, proactive and committed to ensuring that every child can thrive.
St Bart's Multi Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This position is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Further details regarding this check are available from schools. More information on St Bart's Multi Academy Trust including our Prospectus and Safeguarding Policy can be found on our website
