This exciting opportunity involves representing The Modern Milkman at high-value street locations across Manchester and the surrounding areas. You'll be part of an intensive 5-week campaign running from November through mid-December 2025, making this perfect for those seeking flexible seasonal work or a concentrated earning opportunity during the festive period.
What You'll Do
- Represent us at prime street locations across Manchester city centre and suburbs
- Engage potential customers in conversations about our convenient delivery service
- Offer free samples of fresh juice and milkshakes in beautiful glass bottles
- Educate people on the benefits of fresh, British-sourced products in returnable packaging
- Capture lead information and sign up new subscribers to our service
- Meet sales targets while having fun and building genuine connections
- Set up and breakdown your stall each day (simple, straightforward process)
Schedule
- Duration: 5 weeks (November 10 – December 14, 2025)
- Trading days: Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday each week
- Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (full day shifts)
- Locations: Rotating across Manchester city centre and suburban high-footfall areas
- Total trading days: 15 days
This is perfect for students finishing their semester, professionals looking for seasonal work, or anyone wanting concentrated earning potential over the festive season.
What You'll Earn
- £130 day rate - guaranteed income to cover your time
- £15 commission on every sale after your first 3 - uncapped potential
- 5-week campaign = £1,950 base earnings (before commission)
What We're Looking For
- A friendly, approachable personality that naturally connects with people
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or brand ambassador roles is a plus (but not essential - genuine personality matters most)
- A bit of a foodie who appreciates quality products
- Conscious about sustainability without being preachy
- Comfortable starting conversations with strangers and building rapport quickly
- Wednesday/Thursday/Saturday availability throughout November–December
- Age 18+
- Reliable and punctual - we're running a professional operation
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions and weather
- Drving licence
