Summary: Support a gentleman's recovery after an accident, helping him regain confidence, independence, and comfort at home.

About the Role If you're someone who takes pride in helping others live with independence, dignity, and comfort, this role could be perfect for you.

You'll be joining a small, dedicated care team providing one-to-one support to a gentleman in Weston-super-Mare as he continues his recovery following a motorbike accident that resulted in a below-knee amputation.

Your care, consistency, and encouragement will make a genuine difference to his daily life—helping him regain confidence, stay active, and feel supported every step of the way.

What You'll Be Doing In this rewarding role, you'll:

  • Support with personal care routines such as washing, dressing, and hygiene
  • Encourage independence, helping him adapt and thrive in his home environment
  • Prompt medication as outlined in the care plan
  • Provide companionship and reassurance, especially on challenging days
  • Support with daily routines, including light household tasks and meal preparation
  • Promote a safe, comfortable, and positive home atmosphere

  • Previous experience in a care or support role
