We are looking for an Artistic Administrator to provide highly efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the New Works team and to act as a key contact for the artists we work with. The Artistic Administrator will also provide general office administrative support to the Producers (London) team.

As part of the New Works and Producers (London) teams, you will play a vital role in the delivery of research and development workshops, be responsible for formatting and circulating scripts for workshops and rehearsals, as well as managing calendars and inboxes, and helping to organise travel and events.

Reporting to the New Works Manager, key areas of responsibility include (please see the full job description and person specification for the comprehensive list):

  • Provide admin support across New Works, Producers (London), and wider artistic teams.
  • Coordinate meetings, manage calendars, inboxes, and respond to enquiries.
  • Prepare and print scripts, support workshops, and assist with logistics.
  • Handle contracts, travel bookings, expenses, and invoice processing.
  • Support production events, international touring, and team communications.
  • Manage script submissions, reader coordination, and internal reporting.

To be suitable for this role, it is essential that you have the following knowledge and experience:

  • Self-motivated with experience in providing first-class administrative support.
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise effectively in a busy department.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and high accuracy are essential.
  • Interest in theatre, with experience of engaging with artists.
  • Solution-oriented team player with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to act with integrity, tact, patience, and maintain confidentiality.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 18 months based in London.

You will be working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, although occasional weekend and evening work will be required. We support a hybrid working model that enables staff to work both remotely and on-site, depending on the needs of the role and the organisation.
