About the role:

Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen at BDB for a Creative / Artworker to join

the creative department in Altrincham, Manchester. We're a multi-disciplined team, charged with delivering the most ambitious, effective, and cutting-edge work for leading B2B brands across all aspects of the marketing mix including creative, branding, design, copy and motion graphics.

You'll be creating pin point accurate artwork for creative concepts and campaigns as well as helping

create presentations and adapting existing creative assets to alternative sizes and layouts. You'll have

a keen design eye, skills, talent and enthusiasm you want to share with the world; And you'll be able

to take responsibility for the rollout of digital- and print-based projects to enable the wider team to do

their best work.

Responsibilities:

• You will develop creative assets for concepts and campaigns including but not limited to: Brand

guidelines, websites, social media posts, email, brochures, whitepapers, infographics and packaging

• You will take existing artwork and accurately re-format it to multiple sizes based on technical guidelines, taking guidance from the wider team on the creative aesthetic

• You'll provide meticulous QA and review of all final output before presenting to the Creative team

for sign off

• You will create in-depth documents across the Microsoft Office suite utlising master pages,

style sheets and colour palettes to make functional templates with consistent design integrity

• You'll have an intricate knowledge of the print process and understand printers proof marks

• You'll be equally at home when artworking digital content such as social posts, banner ads and images for website population

• You'll create beautiful mockups to help realise concepts for the internal team and clients

• You'll be responsible for the delivery of timely, accurate artwork, working independently

and as part of a wider team

• You will assist in the creation of image thumbnails and content population for websites, landing pages, and email templates

• You'll have a strong interest in design as well as a passion for your craft and continued improvement

• You'll stay up to date with production tools and technological advancements

• You'll actively maintain the BDB creative file servers

Requirements:

• 4+ years experience or a convincing story about why you don't need it

• Intimate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and the ability to artwork as you go

• A relevant degree – Graphic Design, Communication, Advertising

• Ability to create brand guidelines to the highest of design standards and insist on consistency in brand assets

• Ability to create internal and client presentations using Powerpoint

• Demonstrable experience in creating interactive documents, retouching photography, working with links and smart objects within documents, creating animated gifs etc

• Open to taking direction from creatives, team members and project managers

• Must be able to work under pressure whilst multi-tasking

• Working knowledge of prototyping software ie. Adobe XD, Sketch, Invision, Figma is a plus

• An understanding of current internet technologies, HTML coding and app design are advantageous

Essential software skills:

• Adobe CC — InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop

• MS Office 365 — Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint

Desired software skills:

• Digital prototyping tools such as InVision, Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD

• Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere
