Role Summary:

We are looking to recruit an experienced Pharmacist Dispenser to join our Pharmacy team, based in Laindon, Essex. The post holder will ensure the safe and effective running of the dispensary, meeting the organisation's timeframes for medication dispatch.

Role Duties:

  • Perform basic prescription checks on patient's name, drug name and strength, dosage form and prescriber's authenticity on the prescription
  • Download and redact prescriptions from FP10 Inbox
  • Order medication according to prescriptions received and raise relevant Purchase Orders
  • Complete any tasks related to Purchase Orders
  • Dispense and label medications correctly

Qualification/Experience for Role:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths preferred
  • NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant / Pharmacy Dispensary required
  • Extensive dispensary experience within relevant Pharmacy setting, ideally within a hospital or busy community pharmacy
  • Experience helping to lead a team desirable
  • Experience using MS Office desirable

About Mamedica

A private clinic, with linked pharmacy, which specialises in assisting patients who may not have found satisfactory results for their conditions via their existing medications.

We work with consultants specialising within pain, psychiatry, neurology, palliative care and cancer, so our patients can receive their prescribed medication directly to their door, via next-day delivery service.

Our prescribed medicines are produced and manufactured according to the pharmaceutical-grade EU-GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice.)
