Ryak Cleaning and Support Services are currently recruiting for a temporary Housekeeper / Cleaning Operative to work within a school environment in Portstewart. This is an immediate start position.

Rate of Pay: £12.95 per hour (paid monthly)

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 11:00am – 6:00pm

Contract Type: Temporary

About the Role

You will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the school are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. The role involves working as part of a team to provide a safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key Duties

  • General cleaning of classrooms, offices, and communal areas
  • Cleaning washrooms and replenishing supplies
  • Emptying bins and maintaining hygiene standards
  • Following site Health & Safety and safeguarding procedures

About You

  • Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience essential
  • Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong work ethic
  • Must hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced AccessNI certificate (essential for school settings)

Rate of Pay: £12.95 per hour
