This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong work ethic and a willingness to support various aspects of construction work on-site. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, physically fit, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. No two days are the same and you'll be an essential part of ensuring our projects run smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Assist skilled tradespeople such as bricklayers, roofers and carpenters as needed
  • Load and unload materials, tools and equipment
  • Perform basic demolition work, such as breaking down walls or removing old fixtures, under supervision
  • Perform site clean-up, removing debris and keeping the work area organised
  • Mix and prepare materials such as concrete, mortar, and plaster
  • Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision
  • Help with deliveries and proper storage of materials
  • Follow instructions from site supervisors and ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently
  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures on-site

Requirements

  • Previous experience on a construction site is preferred
  • Willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks
  • Good level of physical fitness and stamina
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
  • A good understanding of health and safety practices on construction sites
  • CSCS card is preferred (or willingness to obtain one)
