We're Events Hype Squad Ltd, a London-based full-service event management company delivering Décor, Entertainment, Catering, and Venues. From vibrant birthdays and baby showers to gender reveals, weddings, and corporate parties, we plan, design, and execute unforgettable experiences. Our décor spans balloon arches and garlands, themed backdrops, table styling, and full venue transformations, seamlessly paired with curated entertainment, delicious menus, and the perfect venue to Hype the Party Vibe.

We are seeking a talented and dynamic DJ to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music and entertainment, with the ability to engage and energise audiences at various events. This role requires not only exceptional musical skills but also strong marketing, public speaking, and customer service abilities. A successful DJ will create memorable experiences through music while ensuring a vibrant atmosphere.

Duties

  • Curate and mix music playlists tailored to the event's theme and audience preferences.
  • Perform live at events, engaging with guests through public speaking and interactive activities such as Karaoke.
  • Set up and break down sound equipment, including speakers, mixers, and microphones, which may involve heavy lifting.
  • Collaborate with event planners to understand client needs and expectations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests and ensuring a positive experience throughout the event.
  • Stay updated on current music trends and integrate them into performances to keep the audience entertained.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a DJ
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
  • Public speaking skills to engage guests during performances.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on creating enjoyable experiences for attendees.
  • Ability to dance or incorporate dance elements into performances is highly desirable.

Pay: £40.00-£50.00 per hour
