Position:

Henshaws are looking to recruit a Technical Support Manager to support the Head of Facilities and Estates and work along side our Maintenance Manager and Catering Manager.

The role of the Technical Support Manager will be:

  • To assist the Head of Estates in ensuring the Facilities provide a safe, clean and welcoming environment conducive to student's needs and wellbeing.

  • Direct line management of the housekeeping team
    To assist in the day-to-day running of the estates and facilities team with a focus on Compliance, Safety, and Record Keeping

  • Salary: £20.89 per hour/£41,278.64 per annum

  • Hours per week: 38
  • Weeks per year: 52
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Annual leave: 5 weeks plus 10 days' bank holiday
  • Location: Henshaws College, with travel across sites in Knaresborough and Manchester
  • Closing Date: 7th December 2025 at 12 noon.
Requirements:
  • Level 4 qualification in Facilities Management (IWFM) or equivalent experience.
  • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and compliance requirements
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure
