Job description:

We are looking for SG or DS SIA licenced staff to work as Security Officers for ongoing and new contracts in Cornwall, specifically focused in and around Penzance.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner

  • Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances

  • Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify any safety hazards or violations

  • Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain security and prevent unauthorized access

  • Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment

  • Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all security-related activities

Requirements:

  • Valid SIA licence - Security Guard or Door Supervisor

  • Proven work experience as a Security Officer or similar role

  • Strong observation skills and attention to detail

  • Basic Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for long periods of time

  • Familiarity with emergency procedures and first aid techniques

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations

Shifts available are weekday & Weekend nights 19:00 - 07:00, Weekend days 07:00 - 19:00.

However we do have an ongoing need for staff at other sites across Cornwall as well so please do get in touch if you are interested in other roles aside from this.
