Mickleover Primary School

Hours: 3pm to 6pm Monday to Friday 39weeks per year Term Time, Plus 1 week at the end of August. To start as soon as possible.

Contract type: Permanent

We are looking to appoint reliable and hard-working cleaners to join our team at Mickleover Primary School. Experience of cleaning in a school or other commercial setting is desirable although training will be given.

You will be working under the direction of the Facilities Manager undertaking the cleaning of designated areas within the school premises to ensure that they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition, to the agreed quality standards. The successful candidate will be part of the school team and must relate well to both students and adults.

Applicants need to be reliable, punctual and flexible in their approach to daily tasks with a positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure. We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and would be willing to assist and support their colleagues when necessary to ensure the job is done.

Due to this post having access to children, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided. All appointments are subject to an Enhanced DBS check and be eligible to work in the UK.
