We're looking for a
Technical Planning Team Leader
based in the West & East Midlands areas to join our Property Care team and lead a group of dedicated Lead Planners and Work Planners. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring repairs and maintenance services are scheduled effectively and completed to a high standard.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing planning team.
  • Overseeing the scheduling of repairs to ensure "right first time" completion.
  • Providing technical guidance to scope and time jobs accurately.
  • Collaborating with other team leaders to optimise resource use.
  • Ensuring customers receive timely, clear updates and resolving complaints swiftly.
  • Monitoring work-in-progress and escalating issues to maintain service delivery.
  • Supporting continuous improvement and training initiatives.
  • Deputising for the Planning Manager when required.

What We're Looking For
It is Essential that you have:

  • Previous trade or supervisory experience.
  • Strong understanding of repairs and maintenance operations.

And Desirable If You Have

  • Trade-related qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds).
  • Customer Service Management qualification or equivalent experience.

We Also Need You To Have

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong customer focus and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to analyse data and drive performance improvements.
  • Knowledge of health & safety, HR policies, and digital tools.
  • Technical understanding of trade skills and realistic scheduling.
  • Full Driving Licence as there will be travel across the area.

As our teams are patch based you'd also need to be based in one of the following areas: the West Midlands and Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire & Lincolnshire.
