We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solar PV Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must have a strong mechanical aptitude, solar experience, and the ability to work effectively in various outdoor environments. As a Solar Electrician, you will play a crucial role in the installation and commissioning of solar energy systems, contributing to sustainable energy solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Install and commission Solar PV electrical equipment on residential and commercial properties.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installations.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
  • Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any installation issues that may arise during the process.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout the installation process.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience with renewable installations is essential.
  • City & Guilds 2391 – Inspection & Testing is essential.
  • Full driving licence is required as some driving may be needed. Tools and van provided.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
