Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer with deep expertise in Juniper networking technologies and Mist AI-driven wireless solutions. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and optimising enterprise wireless and wired networks using Juniper Mist AI platforms. This role involves leading network transformation projects, ensuring high-performance connectivity, and leveraging AI for proactive network management and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize Juniper Mist wireless networks using Mist AI and Marvis Virtual Network Assistant.
  • Lead and manage wireless network infrastructure migrations, upgrades, and expansions.
  • Conduct advanced wireless site surveys, RF planning, and network performance analysis.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Juniper routing and switching platforms (EX, QFX, MX series).
  • Use AI and machine learning features in Mist to drive network optimization and predictive analytics.
  • Develop operational documentation, runbooks, and network topology diagrams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including network security, cloud, and systems for seamless network integration.
  • Automate network workflows and monitoring with APIs and scripting (e.g., Python).
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on wireless infrastructure projects.
  • Ensure network availability, security, and service-level compliance.

Qualifications
:

  • Minimum 7 years' experience managing enterprise wireless and wired networks.
  • Strong expertise in Juniper Mist AI platforms and wireless LAN technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Junos OS and Juniper hardware platforms (EX, QFX, MX).
  • Hands-on experience with wireless protocols x), RF design, and security.
  • Proficient with Mist AI dashboard, Marvis, and network analytics tools.
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages such as Python.
  • Familiarity with network security concepts (NAC, segmentation, firewall integration).

Certifications
(Preferred):

  • Juniper Mist Certified Specialist or equivalent.
  • JNCIA / JNCIP (Juniper Certified Internet Associate/Professional).
  • CWNP certifications (e.g., CWNA, CWDP).
  • Fortinet NSE certifications (bonus).
  • Vendor-neutral certifications like CCNP/CCNA a plus.
