Job Title: Team Leader

Location: Stanmore School, Lanark, ML11 7RR

Hours: 37 hours per week (term time only)

Salary: £32,391pa

We are currently looking to recruit a Team Leader to join our leadership team, supporting the Head Teacher and Principal Teacher in the operation of Stanmore House School.

You will coordinate and supervise a team of support staff, delivering a high standard of social care practice using a person-centred approach that reflects each learner's individual needs, wants, and aspirations.

In addition to supporting the care aspects of your team's role, you and your team will work alongside education and therapy staff to enhance learners' educational outcomes.

A key part of this role is to coach, monitor, mentor, and develop the skills within the staff team. You will do this by demonstrating leadership qualities such as role modelling, decision-making, effective communication, a positive attitude, commitment, and confidence in your role.

You may also be required to deliver direct support to our learners. Supervision duties, rota management, and supporting staff to complete online and mandatory training will also form part of your responsibilities.
