What you'll do

The primary purpose of this role is to define and lead strategically focused deliverables and enhancements in the Fixed Line and Converged team to support growth in sales through digital channels.

This role will work closely with key stakeholders across consumer to ensure that product development needs for the digital journey are met and any new propositions are supported in line with planned go-to-market activity.

This role is a mixture of customer obsession, best practice, and technology evangelism, balanced with flexibility to change and uncompromising quality of delivery. The role will work primarily work in scrum teams defining and executing the devices product roadmap, leading PI planning, writing user stories, defining the optimsation backlog, plus driving product KPIs.

Additionally, the Product Manager will have the responsibility of overseeing product owners, mentoring, and coaching them to ensure high performance and professional growth.

  • Be a focal point of contact for the business for the defined product.
  • Support the product owner in deliverying the product roadmap, evolving product KPIs and driving optimisation.
  • Support the senior product owner in managing product feature prioritisation; ensuring stakeholders understand the compromises and constraints.
  • Brief stakeholders on the capability roadmap, and associated deliverables, to ensure cross function alignment.
  • Continuously monitor customer needs, market trends, competitor activity and regulatory landscape to ensure the product remains a category leader.
  • Help drive a culture of experimentation and learning.
  • Maintain and constantly optimise the end-to-end customer experience and back-log of ideas to drive value.
  • Manage product user journey design, ensuring a high quality cross channel user experience
  • Help manage product launches, ensuring business readiness.
  • Document processes and training materials to assist customers in the use of the product feature set.
  • Mentor and coach product owners, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals and develop their skills.

Who you are

  • Experience of working as a Product Manager, ideally
  • Experience of defining and delivering Minimum Viable Products, running A/B tests and making data oriented decisions
  • Understanding of eCommerce front ends and the interfaces with backend information systems
  • Vodafone is a large matrix organisation so stakeholder management across the organisation will be a key requirement of the role
  • Analytical skills to measure impact, identify trends and create strong hypothesis to test
  • Experience delivering high quality customer experiences
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Supplier management and influencing skills
  • Understanding of Agile ways of working
