Job Summary

We are seeking a Production Team Member to join our small hard working team. We are looking for the right person to help us consistently produce high-quality broths and stocks based on standardised recipes to ensure that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently to the highest food safety standards. Heavy lifting will be required.

Responsibilities
  • Produce quality products within the agreed production schedules.
  • Maintaining excellent standards of personal, food and kitchen hygiene
  • Ensuring compliance to procedures, recipe specifications
  • Ensuring that HACCP Food Hygiene regulations are met.
  • Efficient management of all aspects of the cook/chill production within the food production process including storage, preparation and cooking.

Other duties as required:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment and utensils
  • Liaising with suppliers, existing and potential customers
  • Help with routine food prep tasks.
  • Running errands for supplies as needed
  • Able to cope under time pressure.
  • Demonstrate multi-tasking with ease and using initiative
  • Able to work as part of a tight knit team.
  • Perform duties reasonably associated with the role as assigned.
  • Heavy lifting will be required
Qualifications

Personal attributes

  • An Interest in cooking and nutrition
  • As the post is physically demanding with heavy lifting,

applicants should be fit and able to perform this role.

  • Punctual, flexible and reliable
  • Organisation and efficiency
  • Good communication and people skills
  • The ability to work under pressure.

Experience

  • Previous production experience, ideally within a factory or production unit
  • Experience in working in a cook/chill operation

Qualifications

  • Food Hygiene qualification or training

  • Self-motivated and results orientated individual
