We are looking for a self-employed fencing labourer to join a small established family business based in Lichfield and covering mainly across Staffordshire.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of fencing installation and landscape maintenance. The work will include commercial, agricultural and domestic fencing. The work will also include hedge planting and tree maintenance, general estate and grounds maintenance, strimming, paving, turfing, groundworks and garden clearance.

A background in this line of work is advantageous, as well as experience with various tools and machinery used in landscaping.

Responsibilities

  • Perform fencing and landscape maintenance tasks including all fencing, mowing, strimming, weeding, and hedge planting.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tools and work areas.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion on time and to high standards.

Experience

  • Previous experience in landscape maintenance, estate management or gardening is preferred.
  • Driving License preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.21-£15.79 per hour
