Do you have a background in mechanical maintenance engineering in a manufacturing or production environment? We're looking someone who's knowledgeable, enthusiastic, approachable and great at explaining things to young people. You'll train groups of apprentices in engineering maintenance, and you'll have a caseload of students to visit in the workplace, so there'll be lots of variety.

You'll need to be…
- positive, supportive and passionate, with a can-do attitude
- organised and reliable
- able to inspire students with your infectious enthusiasm and energy
- experienced in electrical and mechanical maintenance
- able to explain things simply and clearly
- willing to work towards assessing and teaching qualifications
- (ideally, you'll be a qualified assessor and experienced in welding too)
What you'll be doing…
- training apprentices and wider industry
- marking work, tracking progress and giving feedback
- supporting, training and mentoring the next generation of engineers at our state-of-the-art Technology Centre in Monkerton (near M5 junction 29), and on site with a range of employers
- joining one of the best engineering training centres in the UK
