Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong work ethic who take pride in creating a clean and welcoming environment. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

  • Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, dusting, and vacuuming to ensure all areas are kept tidy and hygienic
  • communal areas regularly
  • Maintain the cleanliness of floors, windows, surfaces, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
  • Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning procedures and standards

Requirements

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks throughout the shift
  • Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as required
  • A current DBS is required
  • Driving is essential and you will need to travel a short distance on the site
