Evening Workshop Cleaner;

We are looking for a cleaning operative to join our team to work in a car workshop environment, in the Shirley area of Solihull.

Candidates will be trained to clean a workshop floor using a scrubber dryer machine. The area of responsibility includes the cleaning of a washroom and kitchen area.

Location; Highlands Road, Shirley, Solihull, B90 4GT

Monday to Friday; 6:00pm to 8:00pm (2 hours per day)

Total Hours Per Week; 10 Hours

Rate of Pay; £12.60

Holiday Entitlement; 28 days holiday per year

Permanent Contract (Temporary/short term work applications will not be considered)

Free on site parking available

Summary

As an Evening Workshop Cleaner, you will be essential in maintaining a clean and organized environment during the evening hours, working Monday to Friday for 2 hours each day. This role requires strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain workshop areas to ensure a consistently clean environment.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks
  • Communicate effectively with team members to address any cleaning needs or issues.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while handling cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.60 per hour
