Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Relations Host to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service to ensure a memorable stay. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where guest satisfaction is our top priority.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
  • Respond promptly to guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
  • Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance guest experience
  • Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently using the hotel management system
  • Address guest concerns or complaints professionally, seeking prompt resolution
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards
  • Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions for reporting purposes
  • Promote hotel services, special offers, and loyalty programmes to maximise guest satisfaction and retention

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse guests
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential
  • Organised with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • A friendly demeanour with a genuine desire to assist guests and create positive experiences
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
