Logistics Coordinator

Who we are:
We manufacture high quality bespoke timber doorsets, and associated products, to the construction industry covering the UK and beyond. We have been established for over 30 years and supply to a number of market sectors including education, healthcare, mental health, commercial and residential.
The Role:
You will be responsible for liaising with colleagues, customers and external providers to ensure projects are delivered on time in a cost effective manner and with a quality outcome for all parties. This includes working with colleagues in the office, factory and warehouse to ensure goods are prepared in good time, arranging bookings with external providers and liaising with customers to ensure requirements are effectively handled.
You will also supply administrative support within the office.
Responsibilities:
· Ensuring all deliveries are despatched on time
· Ensuring the most costs effect method of delivery is used at all times
· Analysis of data to review performance against agreed metrics
· Producing/Managing related paperwork
· Assisting with other warehouse duties
Driving/Making deliveries if required using company vehicle
Assisting with loading/unloading vehicles
· Maintaining audit records for FSC/PEFC audits
Skills & Experience:
· Excellent attention to detail
· Excellent communication skills
· Excellent organizational skills
· Flexible and positive attitude
· Clean driving licence
· Counterbalance fork lift truck licence preferred but training can be provided
· Previous experience in dealing with transport companies/making bookings etc
