Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out manual labour and site maintenance tasks as directed by the Site Foreman.
  • Keep the site clean, organised, and safe at all times.
  • Operate power washing equipment to clean the wash plant area and surrounding spaces.
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the recycled aggregates facility.
  • Adhere to all company health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Wear and maintain appropriate PPE at all times.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues where required.
  • Report any safety or operational issues promptly.

Skills and Qualifications

Required:

  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual work.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards.
  • Basic understanding of construction site safety practices.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to commute to site (own transport required).

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in construction, recycling, or a similar industrial environment.
  • Experience operating power washing equipment.

Working Conditions

  • Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
  • Physically demanding role involving standing, walking, lifting, and carrying.
  • Exposure to machinery noise and moving equipment.
  • Standard hours: 07:00 – 16:30, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime on Saturday mornings.
