Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team on a self-employedbasis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy, presentable, and welcoming. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
  • Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to ensure a clean environment.
  • Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately while adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address any concerns or special requests.
  • Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency in service delivery.
  • Driver preferreddue to the locationof the site.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills in English to interact with clients and team members effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A valid driving licence is advantageous for travelling between locations.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
