At CK International, we design and manufacture innovative waste compaction and baling equipment used by leading organisations across the UK and worldwide. Due to continued growth, we're looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our UK engineering team.

This is a home-based role covering the Oxford area, offering the opportunity to work independently while being part of a supportive and experienced national service team.

What You'll Do

  • Install, commission, and test waste and recycling equipment
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
  • Carry out warranty work and complete accurate service reports
  • Attend breakdowns and meet company service level agreements
  • Participate in an on-call rota (1 in 4 weekends)
  • Maintain van stock levels and ensure all work meets CK International's safety standards
  • Attend quarterly reviews, training, and development sessions

What We're Looking For

  • Time-served engineer with mobile field service experience
  • Strong hydraulic fault-finding skills and ability to read hydraulic and electrical diagrams
  • Ability to interpret installation documentation and drawings
  • PLC knowledge desirable
  • Experience working in heavy industrial or waste/recycling environments (advantageous)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Full UK driving licence (max 6 points) and valid UK passport

Desirable: 17th Edition Electrical qualification (or equivalent)
