Job Summary

As a Mortgage Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through the mortgage process, helping them secure the financing they need to achieve their homeownership dreams. Your expertise in loan origination and financial services will empower you to provide tailored solutions that meet each client's unique needs. With your strong background in loan processing and compliance with regulations such as the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), you will ensure a smooth and efficient experience for all clients.

What you'll do

  • Engage with clients to assess their financial situations and recommend suitable mortgage products.
  • Facilitate the loan origination process by gathering necessary documentation and verifying information.
  • Process loans efficiently while adhering to all regulatory guidelines and company policies.
  • Prepare and explain contracts, ensuring clients understand their obligations and rights.
  • Utilize financial software to analyze client data and streamline processing tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, loan status, and documentation using 10 key typing skills.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the mortgage journey, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with other professionals in the financial services industry to enhance service delivery.

Basic qualifications

  • Strong understanding of loan origination processes and financial services principles.
  • Experience as a loan officer or in a similar role within the mortgage industry.
  • Proficiency in loan processing, with knowledge of TILA regulations.
  • Basic math skills for calculating loan amounts, interest rates, and payment schedules.

Preferred qualifications

  • Familiarity with various financial software applications used in mortgage processing.
  • Excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with clients and colleagues.
  • Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in documentation and compliance.
