Our Commercial & Industrial division designs, fabricates and constructs structural steelwork for a variety of different sectors including commercial offices, stadia & leisure, industrial & distribution, data centres, retail and health and education.

The division has manufacturing sites in three locations: Dalton, Lostock, and Enniskillen. Each has full-service capabilities and modern manufacturing processes enabling us to provide a high-quality product to a variety of different sectors. Each of our sites has its own strong reputation in the market and between them cover a wider geographical area, including Europe. They continue to set the

in their highly complex market

Vacancy Details

Severfield Commercial & Industrial are looking for a Fabrication Material Handler (Bogey Loader) to join the production team at our site at Dalton, near Thirsk.

In the Material Handler position you will be responsible for the accurate and timely loading of Bogeys. Working from production documentation and Engineering drawings you will load all the correct components in the approved order ready for the fabrication process.

You should be a good team player willing to assist and help colleagues, with good verbal communication skills, be flexible and adaptable in addition to being health and safety aware. Applicants must possess Overhead Crane experience with previous experience in a similar role being a distinct advantage.
