As Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing strategic marketing plans and leading our brand and marketing team as part of the Senior Leadership Team. You will oversee the evaluation and development of marketing strategies, the planning and coordination of marketing activity, the communication of marketing plans, and the ongoing positioning and recognition of our company brand. You will also work closely with the sales teams to drive client and broker awareness and increase market share.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Managing a small team with a range of specialisms and skill sets. Your ability to lead a diverse team is essential.
  • Controlling and driving commercial fundamentals across all aspects of the marketing strategy.
  • Delivering brand vision and guidelines, including market positioning, and leading strategic activity to bring the vision to life.
  • Working closely with marketing teams to achieve a unified strategy across all products.
  • Staying up to date with the latest marketing trends and identifying innovative opportunities across marketing and communication channels.
  • Developing and implementing marketing activity plans, identifying opportunities to increase sales, build brand awareness, and deliver strong product PR campaigns.
  • Leading strategic initiatives to drive organisational growth and profitability.
  • Overseeing all media-related activities and creating seasonal marketing calendars.
  • Leading and generating ideas for the website, e-marketing, and social media activity.
  • Securing positive press coverage for the brand across major consumer titles and online media outlets.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicating with external agencies as required.

Who are we looking for?

  • At least 5 years' experience operating at Senior Leadership level.
  • Significant experience in brand development, digital marketing, PR and broader marketing within the financial services industry.
  • Ambitious and committed to delivering a marketing strategy across all products and channels, both digital and non-digital.
  • Hands-on approach, actively involved in day-to-day team operations, and setting clear expectations and standards.
  • An exceptionally strong communicator with proven leadership qualities.
  • A track record of delivering improved ROI across PR and marketing initiatives.
  • Creative and passionate about producing engaging content for press, e-marketing and the website.
