Salary/Hourly Pay: £13.10 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 05:00am-14:00pm, 40hrs a week.

Location: Kendal

As Recycling Operative, you will be responsible for collection of mixed waste recyclables or general waste from collection rounds. You will do this within a safety-conscious and customer-focused environment to ensure that all properties participating in the scheme are serviced according to work procedure.

How you'll make an impact

  • To work with the vehicle driver to ensure that all properties on assigned routes are serviced efficiently and effectively, as per the collection schedule
  • To ensure paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and kept up to date
  • Follow all health and safety procedures, report hazards or incidents, and help maintain a safe workplace.
  • Demonstrate a positive, professional attitude and build good relationships with colleagues and customers.

This role can be physically demanding and is predominantly based outdoors.
