Deburring Machine Operator
to support our Machine Shop in delivering high-quality, precision-engineered parts.

Hours:
37 per week (Mon–Thu 08:00–17:00, Fri 08:00–12:00)

The Role
You'll carry out deburring and manual machining operations, working to technical drawings and strict quality standards. Responsibilities include:

  • Deburring components using machinery and hand tools
  • Setting and operating manual machines
  • Completing quality checks before inspection
  • Following job cards, SOPs, and safety procedures
  • Supporting 5S and continuous improvement activities
  • Maintaining good housekeeping and safe working practices

What You'll Bring

  • Machine shop experience
  • Strong deburring skills
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings
  • Basic PC skills
  • Experience with manual milling, broaching, or grinding (desirable)
  • CNC experience (advantageous)

What To Expect
You'll begin with a screening call with your Recruitment Business Partner. If shortlisted, you'll attend a structured interview with the hiring manager and complete a short practical trade test to demonstrate your engineering skills.
