We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join our team. Duties will include supporting the activities of individuals or groups of children to enable them to participate fully in their learning and access to the curriculum. This will include working across different curriculum areas, liaising effectively with teaching staff and supporting the SENCO in assessing and monitoring the provision in place for these students. This role will be focussed on supporting our students with a variety of Special Educational Needs.

Experience of supporting students' learning in a school setting is essential, as are good numeracy and literacy skills. You will need to be educated to at least GCSE level and have a good working knowledge of ICT. For the Level 3 post, a recognised Level 3 teaching assistant qualification according to the Birmingham City Council list will be required. For the Level 2 post, there will be opportunity to undertake the qualification to achieve Level 3 status.
