In this role, you will work within an integrated project delivery team, gaining valuable hands-on experience in developing, monitoring, and maintaining project plans. Under the guidance of an experienced Planner, you will work alongside Site, Commercial, and Engineering teams to learn the skills needed to become a successful Project Planner.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Developing Project Plans – Learn how to build and maintain robust, detailed plans that capture the full project scope.

  • Monitoring Project Progress – Gather and analyse progress data to identify risks, mitigate delays, and drive efficient project delivery.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with internal and external teams to ensure seamless coordination across all project phases to actively deliver projects on time and within budget.

  • Risk & Opportunity Management – Help identify, manage, and mitigate risks while finding ways to maximise opportunities.

  • Continuous Learning – Gain training in relevant planning software and develop a solid understanding of project management best practices.

Who We're Looking For

  • A keen interest in project planning and a proactive, can-do attitude.

  • Experience in Civil Engineering, Water, Wastewater, or M&E (preferred but not essential).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills – able to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

  • Computer literate, with the willingness to learn planning software.

  • A full, clean UK driving licence ( essential).
