Our client is looking for an experienced
IT Delivery Manager
to lead the successful delivery of large-scale IT and cloud projects from planning through to go-live. The role will suit someone confident managing complex programmes of work, coordinating technical teams, and ensuring delivery stays on track against key milestones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full delivery lifecycle from initial scoping through to deployment and handover
  • Take ownership of large-scale technical projects, including resource planning, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Manage the delivery of cloud-based solutions and infrastructure projects
  • Work with technical leads to define deliverables, milestones, and timelines
  • Build and maintain detailed delivery plans, tracking progress, risks, issues, and costs
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to engineering and senior management teams
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes
  • Ensure all testing, documentation, and operational readiness are completed before go-live
  • Apply structured delivery methods to plan, monitor, and execute projects effectively

Skills and Experience

  • Strong background in IT project or delivery management, ideally within cloud or infrastructure environments
  • Proven experience managing large-scale, end-to-end technical projects
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Broad understanding of cloud platforms and modern infrastructure delivery
  • Confident communicator able to build and maintain strong relationships across technical and business teams
  • Positive, proactive, and collaborative approach to problem solving
  • Genuine interest in cloud technologies and continuous learning
