We are currently recruiting for a Senior Complaince Assurance Manager to join our established and experienced Risk & Compliance team on a hybrid basis.

Line Two's purpose is to be a "force for good, helping the business to thrive and improve". This role plays a key part in keeping the business safe and in the simplification, modernisation and empowerment agenda of the Compliance and Risk function.
The purpose of this role is to assist the UK Chief Compliance Officer and the Head of Regulatory Affairs and Assurance (UK) in delivering risk-based assurance activity across the UK Business. The role is key to ensuring that the business operates within the law and regulation that applies to RSA.
You will support and collaborate with the Head of Regulatory Affairs and Assurance (UK) on the assurance framework and priorities. You will be responsible for conducting compliance assurance reviews of differing levels of complexity across a range of business areas. You will test the business's compliance with FCA, PRA and outcome regulation highlighting gaps or weaknesses as part of your reviews. You will analyse regulatory themes and trends and identify opportunities across the UK business for improving operational efficiency and mitigating regulatory risk. You will have an external lens into regulatory developments in the insurance industry and accompanying best practice.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering assurance reviews of differing levels of complexity across a range of business areas developing and completing test plans, maintaining evidence of findings, and ensuring the implementation of practical, proportionate, and sustainable remedial solutions identified in the course of monitoring, are delivered in line with the defined requirements.
You will take a range of approaches to assurance and will carry out traditional, data led, short and sharp and ongoing reviews as appropriate.
Your skills and experience:
You will bring proven experience in Compliance, Risk, Audit, or a similar assurance function, with a good track record of working within regulated environments. You have an excellent understanding of FCA regulation and the ability to interpret the FCA Handbook and other key regulatory frameworks. In particular, your knowledge of ICOB, SYSC, DISP, and PRIN is essential.
You will also have a solid grasp of the regulatory provisions applying to commercial and specialty lines, along with experience delivering regulatory projects and remediation programmes. Your detailed knowledge of FCA expectations around conduct risk and customer outcomes enables you to translate regulation into practical, business-focused solutions.
With a strong understanding of general insurance regulation and operations, you bring a pragmatic, execution-focused approach to managing regulatory risk and ensuring compliance across the business
