That Happiness Project is dedicated to making mental health services accessible to all, regardless of background or financial means. Originating with a year of pro bono services for the underprivileged, the initiative focuses on transforming society through mental health workshops for schools, NGOs, and NPOs. With successful collaborations across India, the organization aims to create a positive impact by promoting mental well-being on a wider scale. Since December 2023, That Happiness Project has been expanding its offerings by collaborating with freelance counselors and therapists to deliver individualistic services. They also remain committed to fostering partnerships with mental wellness centers, NGOs, and other organizations.

Role Description

This is a remote internship role for a Counseling Intern at That Happiness Project. The intern will assist in providing support during counseling sessions, coordinate with counselors, handle client inquiries, and contribute to developing and delivering mental health workshops and resources. Responsibilities will also include conducting research on mental health topics, maintaining client records, and assisting with outreach and awareness campaigns to promote mental well-being.

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of Counseling and Psychology principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and active listening abilities
  • Research and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in creating mental health-related content and workshop materials
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
  • Passion for mental health advocacy and promoting well-being
  • Relevant experience in mental health services or social work is a plus
  • Pursuing or holding a degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
