Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Previous experience in cleaning or customer service is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between sites.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces to meet health and safety standards.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness in designated areas such as offices, washrooms, and communal spaces.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored appropriately after use.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with company policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing any cleaning-related queries or concerns from clients or staff courteously.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in cleaning or customer service roles is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Good communication skills in English to understand instructions and interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Reliable transportation or a valid driving licence is preferred for site visits across multiple locations.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • A positive attitude, punctuality, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
