YOUR ROLE

Our Liverpool based Customs operation is looking for a proactive and customer centric Customs Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will support both import and export activities, ensuring smooth and accurate customs clearances. If you're organised, detail-focused, and ready to grow your career, we'd love to hear from you.

This a 4 on 4 off role, 7AM to 7PM.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting into the Customs Manager, you will play a key role within a diverse and supportive team, ensuring all customs clearances for goods entering and leaving the UK are completed accurately and on time. Using systems such as Cargowise, Destin8 and CNS you will manage inventory links and prepare precise documentation, maintaining exceptional attention to detail to avoid delays or errors. You will manage and resolve customs queries, including post-clearance actions, while monitoring pending clearances.

This position involves regular communication with customers, requiring you to build strong, long-lasting relationships and provide guidance at every stage of the process. Your professionalism and proactive support will help deliver a seamless and efficient customs experience for our clients.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in customs clearance or import operations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to build effective relationships with customers. You will be confident using IT systems, particularly Microsoft Office and experience with Cargowise would be a valuable advantage. We are looking for someone with natural problem-solving abilities and excellent attention to detail. You will be a supportive team player who contributes positively to the wider operation.
