About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Chandlers Ford, in this role you will be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping activities, producing management reports, and supporting clients with accurate, insightful financial information. You will play a key role in delivering outstanding service and helping our clients thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately complete day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with deadlines.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Liaise with clients in a professional and supportive manner.
  • Produce management reports to support clients in understanding their financial position.
  • Use software such as Xero and Excel to streamline processes and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Adhere to accounting standards.
  • Meet deadlines and time budgets.
  • Develop and maintain good client relations.

Key Requirements:

  • AAT qualified or ACCA part qualified.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of Bookkeeping experience, ideally within an accountancy practice.
  • Use software such as Xero and Excel to streamline processes and ensure accurate reporting.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Team oriented, collaborative, and client-focused with a commitment to continuous personal development.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Carrying out tasks with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy.
