Full time: 40 hours / week

Location: Projects are based in London Boroughs and surrounding areas. Our Head office is based in Bloomsbury, London.

Overview:

We are on the lookout for a practical, people-focused crew member to join our growing Logistics team as a Furniture Installer & Van Driver. If you've got a good eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and pride yourself on delivering top-tier service - we want to hear from you.

You will be representing one of London's most exciting collectives in interior design, helping turn beautifully designed spaces into real-life homes and workspaces. From carefully installing bespoke furniture to making sure everything's spotless and ready for handover, your role is vital in bringing our projects to life.

This is more than a driving job - it's a hands-on role that blends teamwork, craftsmanship, and client interaction in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.

As part of the Logistics team, you will work closely with our Sales, Design, and Warehouse teams.

Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • As part of our Logistics crew, you'll play a hands-on role in delivering exceptional experiences for our clients. Day to day, you'll:
  • Provide best-in-class service with care, professionalism, and attention to detail
  • Work alongside designers and Team Leaders on-site to carry out high-quality furniture installations
  • Liaise with concierges or on-site contacts to ensure smooth access and coordination
  • Wear the correct uniform, safety footwear, and PPE at all times, following on-site regulations
  • Protect property interiors with overshoes and floor coverings to prevent any damage
  • Safely install furniture and fittings within set timeframes, with minimal disruption to residents
  • Check all electrical items (e.g., lamps) are working before sign-off
  • Make sure all furniture is clean, polished, and ready for use before leaving the site
  • Present beds with ironed linens and a showroom-ready finish
  • Leave each property clean, tidy, and ready for occupancy - removing all packaging and rubbish
  • Carefully wrap and document any returns to the warehouse
  • Upload install photos and paperwork to our internal system accurately and promptly
  • Assist with admin and final checks before leaving site
  • Complete digital quality assurance checklists after each install
  • Record short videos post-install to share with the wider AGC team
  • Gain competency in installing and measuring window treatments — full training provided

Requirements:

  • A genuine team player who enjoys working collaboratively
  • Adaptable and able to think on their feet
  • Obsessed with the details and takes pride in doing things properly
  • Conscious of quality, safety, and doing things the right way
  • A strong communicator – clear, respectful, and professional
  • Calm under pressure and great at solving problems on the go
  • Naturally service-minded – always thinking about the client experience
  • Full of positive energy and a can-do attitude
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • In possession of a full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years (essential)
  • To ensure efficient van travel and prompt access to installations, candidates must live within a London borough or in adjoining areas. Applicants outside this range may not meet the logistical requirements of the role.

As a Certified B-Corp company, AGC are committed to reaching high social and environmental performance. Our values and responsibilities are part of all crew member job descriptions. We all take ownership for our commitment and playing our part in our never-ending journey towards sustainability and being a force for good.
