Our priorities within the Resourcing Team:

Build a streamlined recruitment process, adopting and sharing recruitment standards to reduce current and future reliance on contingent labour and time to hire.

Create targeted recruitment pipelines for priority roles.

Develop and support strategic recruitment marketing.

Develop and deliver Government Digital and Data recruitment employer branding.

Deliver a Strategic Workforce Plan to cohere a single workforce dataset and establish common digital capability sourcing principles and contingent labour controls to support the development of a Government.

You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our recruitment marketing efforts across government for the Cyber profession.

You'll gain strategic overview experience in a high profile area helping to attract and retain a growing profession. This opportunity will also enable you to make real change and the opportunity to create new ways of working and processes for government.

You'll ensure the profession continues to attract, engage and retain top talent. This position combines recruitment strategy, partnership management and data insight.

  • Collaborate with our Regional Partnerships (Manchester Digital, Techspark, Women in Tech, Diversity in Tech and Ex Military Careers), ensuring content is current, relevant and aligned with our employer branding.

  • Create, schedule, and coordinate Cyber recruitment marketing content for digital platforms, working with the communications team to promote the Cyber profession.

  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of recruitment solutions across departments.
  • Advise departments on attraction and engagement strategies, workforce planning, and recruitment challenges.
  • Design user focused candidate and hiring manager experiences to streamline recruitment.
  • Gather and analyse recruitment data to identify trends, provide insights, and recommend improvements.
  • Promote use of profession brand assets and assist departments in embedding them in their hiring processes.
  • Attend and support recruitment and partnership events regionally as needed.
  • Deputise in meetings and engagements when required.

Essential criteria

  • Proven experience managing recruitment for Cyber Security, with a track record of addressing attraction and retention challenges. (Lead)
  • Experience in developing and delivering recruitment marketing content and attraction strategies to create recruitment pipelines and increase visibility of employer brand.
  • Experience of analysing recruitment and workforce data to identify trends, provide insights to support process improvements to address attraction and recruitment challenges.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to prioritise workload and manage expectations.
  • Experience of building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels of seniority (Internally and externally).
