Overview

Cura Commercial Ltd is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Health & Safety Advisor to join our expanding team at Gatwick Airport. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction health & safety, excellent computer skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our project teams to produce key documentation required for upcoming works.

This role is vital to ensuring our projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with airport protocols. You will work closely with site and project management teams to prepare documentation, support permit processes, and maintain company policies and accreditations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare Construction Phase Plans (CPPs), Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS), and other project-related H&S documentation.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with CDM and airport requirements.
  • Learn and manage the process for raising and maintaining permits within the airport systems.
  • Support site teams with H&S advice and ensure adherence to relevant legislation and best practices.
  • Maintain and update company Health & Safety policies, procedures, and accreditations.
  • Assist in audits, inspections, and incident reporting as required.
  • Follow all health and safety requirements and airport protocols, including airside pass procedures.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and maintain organised digital documentation.

Qualifications

  • Proven competency in Health & Safety within the construction industry.
  • Strong computer skills, including the ability to produce and manage detailed documents.
  • Experience preparing CPPs, RAMS, or similar construction safety documentation (highly desirable).
  • Understanding of CDM Regulations and general construction practices.
  • Airport experience is beneficial but not essential; willingness to learn airport systems is required.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have a clean criminal record (airport security requirement).

Pay: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
