Job DescriptionLast Minute Sales (LMS) Operations Associate – United Kingdom/Italy
Overview of Role
viagogo is the world's largest ticket market place, giving fans access to the best events in sports and live entertainment through a state-of-the-art online ticketing platform. We provide choice, convenience and consumer protection, so that people can buy and sell tickets for live events all over the world with confidence. We are the market leader in our sector and one of the fastest growing e-commerce companies in the world, offering our service to customers in nearly 60 countries.
We're looking to hire ambitious, intelligent, and talented people to help expand our Last Minute Sales ("LMS") business, a service extending the sales window by allowing orders to be picked-up at a ticket collection point on event day when there's insufficient time to ship the tickets.
The LMS Operations Associate will be responsible for managing and growing our LMS business in the United Kingdom or Italy. You will be expected to manage and improve our existing LMS infrastructure from a physical location, staffing, and service standpoint. You will manage a team, oversee the logistics required to provide LMS, and deliver first class support to ticket buyers and sellers on location at events.
This role is the perfect stepping stone from university or grad school into a high growth multinational internet company with a start-up ethos. Your training won't be in a classroom – we will expect you to learn quickly on the job, absorb a considerable amount of information in a short amount of time, and be a strong team contributor within months.
Travel will be required within the United Kingdom or to Italy. Candidates will be expected to work some evenings and weekends depending on the event calendar. Days in lieu will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
· Ownership of last minute sales events and locations in the United Kingdom or Italy
· Operations Execution – Execute LMS operations by setting up the collection point infrastructure, planning the logistics and receiving, packing and distributing tickets
· People Management - Managing a team of part time workers along with partner locations
· Troubleshooting – Problem solve issues that arise with LMS sales and operating collection points
· Account Management and Customer Service Support – Provide in person and online customer support to both buyers and sellers
· Partnership/Business Development – Grow our collection point footprint by opening new collection points, solidifying relationships and renegotiating contracts with existing locations
Experience, Knowledge and Skills
· Organized and reliable with attention to detail
· Thrive when under pressure and multi-tasking
· Committed to working in a customer facing role; motivated by providing great service
· High degree of creativity, curiosity, and optimism, with an eye for possibilities that will drive the business forward
· Entrepreneurial mind-set with a strong bias towards action
· Outstanding written and oral communication
· Recent graduate with a Bachelor's Degree
· Multi-lingual skills are an added bonus, especially Italian
· Eligible to work in the United Kingdom
