Godfrey Robinson House, rated "Good" by CQC, is home to 19 adults with physical and learning disabilities. Located just a short journey from Kingston upon Hull, our service provides a safe, welcoming, and empowering environment for residents and staff alike.
Your working hours
This is a full-time role of 35 hours per week, worked across 7 days.
From 1 December 2025, enhancement rates of £1.00 per hour will apply to night working (8pm Monday – 7am Friday) and weekend working (8pm Friday – 7am Monday). (This does not apply to sleep-ins.)
About the role
We are looking for a Facilities Manager to oversee the smooth running of our ancillary team, including catering, maintenance, transport, domestic services, and activities. You will ensure that our residents experience a safe, well-maintained environment with high-quality social and recreational activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and motivating a multidisciplinary team, including line management of catering, domestic, maintenance, and transport staff
- Ensuring all services are delivered safely, efficiently, and within budget
- Conducting risk assessments and implementing HACCP systems for Health & Safety compliance
- Managing maintenance schedules and ongoing safety checks
- Organising sufficient trained drivers and escorts for transport needs
- Overseeing cleaning, laundry, and domestic services to meet required standards
- Planning and organising resident activities
