Summary
Smarsh is seeking an experienced Channel Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing channel partner strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, channel management, and experience working with key UC, CX and mobile platform providers and Value-Added Resellers (VARs).  How will you contribute?
  • Responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve assigned revenue targets and grow market share for Smarsh solutions within the channel partner ecosystem.
  • Sales and relationship lead for specific partners, responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships and establishing regular meeting cadence, check-ins with key partner stakeholders.
  • Identify and recruit new partners to expand market reach, create new business opportunities and grow pipeline & revenue opportunities for Smarsh.
  • Work with partner teams to create and execute sales go-to-market plans designed to generate customer leads and increase awareness of Smarsh customer value within partner sales teams.
  • Provide regular Smarsh product updates and training for partner sales and engineering teams, enabling them to stay up to date regarding latest innovations and solutions they can market.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including pre-sales, partner success, engineering and support to ensure successful partner on-boarding implementation of Smarsh solutions.
  • Represent Smarsh at industry events, tradeshows, and partner meetings to promote our solutions, build relationships and generate revenue opportunities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position our solutions.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts.
What will you bring?
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Demonstrated success in selling to and through channel partners, with a track record of achieving sales targets in a partner sell-through model.
  • Proven experience in sales, with a focus on collaboration and/or mobile solutions including UC and CX platforms (MS Teams, Cisco/Webex, Zoom, Five9, 8x8, Genesys, RingCentral).
  • Strong understanding of the collaboration technology industry and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with partners and clients and attend key industry events.
