Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve drinks and food items promptly and efficiently, ensuring high standards of hospitality.
  • Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests with their selections.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
  • Operate the till and handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic math skills in processing payments.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of the bar area before and after shifts, ensuring cleanliness and organisation at all times.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn.
  • A background in hospitality is beneficial, showcasing your ability to engage with customers effectively.
  • Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous for maintaining health standards within the establishment.
  • Strong time management skills are essential for thriving in a fast-paced environment.
